As well as being on a through route to the River Blackwater, the River Crouch and to Maldon, we are fortunate to be located in Danbury in close proximity to the Chelmer and Blackwater navigation and a number of the locks. These include Paper Mill Lock, Little Baddow Mill Lock, Rushes Lock and Hoe Mill Lock at Ulting amongst others.

All have their own charm and boating communities are thriving at these locations with long boats, day boats, cannoeing and rowing all being popular.
